 SECOND CIRCULAR
International Symposium on Exotic Nuclei “EXON - 2009”
Sochi, 28 September - 2 October 2009
The International Symposium on Exotic Nuclei (EXON-2009) is scheduled from 28 September to 2 October 2009 in Sochi (Russia, Black Sea).
The scientific programme of the Symposium will be drawn on the basis of the submitted abstracts. The list of registered participants can be found at the web-site of the Symposium: http://exon2009.jinr.ru/. For questions concerning the scientific programme, you may contact the Organizing committee at exon2009@jinr.ru. The final programme will be available at the web-site by 25 June. After that, all speakers will receive official invitations and will be informed of the time allocated for their talks.
IMPORTANT DATES
April 15, 2009: Registration is due
April 30, 2009: Abstract is due
June 10, 2009: Speakers are notified about accepted abstracts
July 1, 2009: 3rd circular
REGISTRATION / VISA INFORMATION
Official letters of invitation will be sent to the participants of the Symposium as well as to their accompanying persons after submitting to the Organizing Committee their personal data. In order to receive official invitations, the participants are asked to fill in the registration (application) form - http://exon2009.jinr.ru/applic_form.htm. The form is needed to make the visa application - http://exon2009.jinr.ru/visa_exon.php. It is necessary to contact Ms. Natalia Dokalenko (doknatasha@jinr.ru) in case of questions concerning the visa applications.
TRANSPORT
It is possible to reach Sochi (airport Adler) by various
domestic flight companies (Aeroflot or Sibirea).

For instance, Lufthansa or the British Air Lines have connection with the Domodedovo airport; other companies are connected with Sheremetyevo-2 (SVO-2), which is an international airport. The flights to Sochi are organized from the domestic airport Sheremetyevo-1 (SVO-1). It takes about 30 minutes by bus from SVO-2 (international airport) to SVO-1 (the domestic one) and at least 1.5 hours from Sheremetyevo to Domodedovo. On request, the Organizing Committee can offer some help for the transfer between the airports.
Convenient flights from Sheremetyevo airport to Adler are: flight numbers SU869, SU872 (the Aeroflot company) or flight number S71023 (the Siberia Airlines from Domodedovo airport).
Directs flights from Vienna are now on regular basis. Austrian Airlines
launched regular direct flights from Vienna to Sochi.

Besides, the Organizing Committee arranges delivery of participants from the Sochi (Adler) Airport (AER) to the venue of the Symposium and back. Please inform the Organizing Committee well beforehand about the date of your arrival/departure and flight numbers.
PROCEEDINGS
The Organizing committee will publish the proceedings of the Symposium. The requirements for the original manuscripts will be given in the Third Circular.
PAYMENT
The registration fee for the participants of the Symposium is 300 ˆ, for the accompanying persons - 150 ˆ. It will be accepted in cash during the registration. The conference fee does not include accommodation.
We have reserved a number of rooms at the “Sputnik” Hotel for the time period of 27 September till 3 October 2009.
Rates (which include breakfast, lunch and dinner) are:
- Two persons in a Standard (two-beds) room - 380 Euro (per person) for the period of 27 September - 3 October
- One person in a Standard (two-beds) room - 600 Euro (for one person) for the period of 27 September - 3 October
- One person in a Suite (two-beds) room - 960 Euro (per person) for the period of 27 September -3 October
- Two persons in a Suite (two-beds) room - 600 Euro (per person) for the period of 27 September - 3 October
